Da'Miere C. Glover, MBA

Da’Miere Glover, a proud native of Columbus, Ohio, is the visionary behind Soleful Scholars of Tomorrow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing sneakers, clothing, athletic wear, and business attire to underprivileged K-12 students in urban communities.

Da’Miere earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Kent State University and his Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Southern Indiana, where he developed a passion for leadership and community service. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Grand Canyon University, reflecting his unwavering commitment to lifelong learning and leadership.

During his academic journey at Kent State University, Da’Miere actively participated in initiatives that fostered mentorship and community growth. As a K/T Peer Mentor in the Kupita/Transiciones (K/T) Mentoring Program, he helped incoming students establish a sense of belonging and cultural affirmation during their freshman year. Da’Miere is also a proud brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He was initiated into the Epsilon Delta Chapter seated at Kent State University, where he served as Vice President and later as President. During his tenure, he served as a Big Brother Mentor, working to increase positive representation and provide African American youth with strong role models. These experiences allowed Da’Miere to demonstrate exceptional leadership and organizational skills, further solidifying his commitment to empowering underserved communities.

 

After earning his degree, Da’Miere continued to give back to the community through programs like Guys Who Read at Bear Creek Elementary School in Katy, Texas. This initiative emphasized the importance of literacy and education by connecting local men with young students to mentor and inspire a love for reading and education.

With over 6 years of experience in sales and project management across multiple industries, Da’Miere honed his skills in strategic planning, relationship-building, and team leadership. During this time, he has achieved multimillion-dollar revenue growth, showcasing his ability to deliver results through strategic and collaborative efforts. He credits his professional journey with equipping him to run a successful nonprofit, combining business acumen with a heart for service.

Soleful Scholars of Tomorrow was born out of Da’Miere’s desire to address the tangible needs of students in underserved communities. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, he witnessed firsthand the challenges many children face without access to necessities like proper footwear or clothing. His mission is to empower students by enhancing their confidence and readiness for academic, athletic, personal, and professional success.

Da’Miere’s strong ties to both Houston, Texas, and Columbus, Ohio position him to connect with the communities most in need. Through this nonprofit, he hopes to inspire others to join him in creating a brighter future for youth nationwide.
